I'm Pregnant!

When you found out you were pregnant, how long did you wait until you told dad-to-be? How did you tell him and was he the first person you told? Did everyone react as you expected?

just foud out

Just found out have not told anyone at all will wait another week as I had an early miscarriage in 2006. I am also in my 40s which makes it more difficult and will seek early medical input, still cant get over it yet as I did plan it but did not know it would happen yet.

I'm Pregnant!

lol ...

I just found out. Took 2 tests to be sure. The daddy 2 be was with me. lol. I haven't told a lot of people I know. My mom & his mom. We had a m/c in July so we didn't want too many people to know just yet. We go to the perinatologist, due to the fact I'm HIGH risk. :(, so pray for me if you will.

I'm Pregnant!

pregnant at last

I waited 1 minute to compose myself then i text him with HI DADDY and of course he didnt catch on so I had to text him and tell him I took a test and it was postive. His reaction was can you take another one to make sure before I get excited. We have been trying for a couple of months and nothing..so he is still a little worried its not true. We were pregnant before and lost the baby at 15 weeks..but am going to take another just so he is feeling better bout the outcome...I can tell he wants to burst but still I guess better to double check.

IM PREGNANT

I found out I was pregnant Aug 9th 2007 in danville illinois, I was visiting my best friend. I was with my other best friend and her friend, it was unexpected and crazy that the stick turned.. I could not believe that I was, it was an accident but also a blessing.
It took me a while to get a hold of him, Bt I took a pic of the test and sent it to him! And finally we talked, it was not an easy conversation, but it is what it was. HE was the first person outside of my friends that I told. Yes everyone reacted as I expected, SHOCKED,was not until I told my family did i start getting negitive feedback and all of them telling me what to do! Im currentley 4 months and 2 days pregnant, and im still dealing with the negitive responses, but moving along and doing what I have to do! good luck to me and everyone else out there.. Im now a single mother to be...

I'm Pregnant!

SURPRISE!!!

We were at the hospital getting me checked for an upper respiratory infection. they wanted to do a chest x-ray and asked me if I could be pregnant, and I said "well it's possible.... I am a happily married woman" but I did not really think I was, we had been trying (unsuccessfully) for 4 1/2 YEARS.... so they did a preg test to be sure and SURE ENOUGH!!! we were both in shock!

Our Experience

My hubby was outside the door of the toilets (only because we were out and I happened to mention that I was several days late which resulted in us running into the nearest chemist for a pregnancy kit and then to the nearest pub for a pre toilet drink!)
Sounds tacky but it wasn't.. he paced the length of the bar whilst I tapped my foot in the toilet.. and then emerged with the "magic wand" showing what we both wanted to see...
We waited for our official confirmation and then the dating scan before we told our parents who were all over the moon..
