I'm Pregnant!
When you found out you were pregnant, how long did you wait until you told dad-to-be? How did you tell him and was he the first person you told? Did everyone react as you expected?

Positive test at 37 YO

First pregnancy, and happy. Just found out that I'm about 2 weeks. I'm 37 and just got off BCP after 16 years. Sixth month of trying. Had help with a fertility monitor.

I hope it goes well for me and my husband. We are happy, but want to keep it to ourselves for a few weeks. We know a couple that just miscarried at 5 weeks and don't want to go thru what they did if things don't work out.

Ladies over 35 and all coming off BCP: don't give up hope.

It took me 3 months to find out I was O'ing every 22 days. And the having intercourse every other day before O'ing and then every day while O'ing didn't work for us. Every day, twice a day did the trick for us. Never seen my husband smile that much before. :)

Definitely invest in the OPK's and if you can, a fertility monitor. I think it made all the difference. That and keeping the OPK's in a journal and dating them to look at how my cycle was trending.

Baby dust to all of you.
