I'm Pregnant!
When you found out you were pregnant, how long did you wait until you told dad-to-be? How did you tell him and was he the first person you told? Did everyone react as you expected?

We have a daughter, 3.5 years old.

I told him the day I found out. I have a very regular cycle. I wasn't on birth control and we rarely used condoms. So we weren't trying, but we weren't doing anything to stop it either. I was having all my normal PMS symptoms, so it never occured to me that I may be pregnant. All my PMS symptoms back then were also the exact same as pregnancy symptoms, tiredness, very sore swollen breasts, the works. It was normal for me. It didn't dawn on me until one night laying bed my husband(then bf) asked "Shouldn't your aunt be here by now?" I hadn't occured to me she was late. At that time she wasn't really. Just by a few days. No big deal. I had been extremely tired that week. So one day between shifts I decided to stop by the drug store to get a test. Never thought it would be positive. I peed on it and walk out. Waited the time, and BFP.
He didn't know I was testing. So I emailed him at work. I sent him a picture of the test. Stating "This is what I did when I got home." I sent a second picture of the result, with the message "And this was the result." :) We weren't expecting it, but were happy none the less. While I want another child, I don't, and neither does he if that makes sense. So once again, while we aren't wanting one or "trying" for another, we aren't doing anything to stop it. I got off the pill in June, but not because we wanted to leave it up to chance. Got off for personal reasons. But due to other issues that the pill seemed to help, if I'm not pregnant this month, I'm getting back on bc.
