I'm Pregnant!
When you found out you were pregnant, how long did you wait until you told dad-to-be? How did you tell him and was he the first person you told? Did everyone react as you expected?

suprise of a lifetime

my husband and i had been married for a little over a year- he had been traveling almost constantly in that year. he was out of town at the time- i took a test before i went to work. it was positive - that cant be right. so i went to work. i bought another on my home form work and it too was positive. AUGH!!!! time to freak out!!! i called my best friend and couldn't get in touch with her. FOUR HOURS later she finally called me back- i was totally freaked out! i was NOT ready to be a mom. we were supposed to go on vacation the next week...i REALLY wanted to go on vacation and was afraid that if i told him this he wouldn't want to go!!! so instead of telling him when he returned on Sat...i waited until we were at the beach on Mon. weehad walked for about 30 minutes and the whole day i had been thinking "how am i going to tell him this?!" so he says "i'm ready to go, are you?" i told him i wanted to sit for a minute more. so he sits down and i told i had to tell him something....i think i'm pregnant. he goes "are you sure?"....."pretty darn" LOL!!!!! yeah he pretty much freaked out after that!! haha!!!! and now he gives me grief because he was #3 and 5 days after i found out.
i realize this stry probably sounds like we weren't excited about having a baby-but we were on the "5 yr plan" and my husband is a super planner- we had no money!!!
now we have a beautiful 3 1/2 yr. old son and i wouldn't trade him for the world. i can hardly remember what my life was before him- hopefully we'll add a couple more to the family in the near future.God bless
