Conception Frustrations? - If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

| I have two kids, and my 53 year old boyfriend has none. In 2 1/2 years we've never used protection, yet Im not pg either. Last month I was late by 5 days and had spotted on my 28th day. It was very depressing to finally get a pg later. I too worry about my work schedule AND the fact that he smokes, has a hint of high blood pressure, but I'm now over 40. I've asked him if he's had a vasectomy he says no. considering we've talked about this, I don't think we're going the extent to have him tested. I do monitor my ovulation times, so Im hoping and praying this is the month! |
