Endometriosis & Fibroids at 19

Posted by: AmyE1989 on Thu Jan 1, 2009
I'm 19 and iv been telling my doctors that i have endometriosis for 6 years, i finally convinced them to do the operation to see if i have endometriosis and it was confirmed that i do, ultrasounds have also confirmed that i have fibroids. I had my operation on 11th decemeber 2008 and they dont seem to be doing anything for me my next appointment is 18th march 2009. Every month i end up in A&E in pain due to my periods. My mother had the same problems and had to have a hystorectomy at 25 they have told me my symptoms are worse than hers were and i could have to have a hystorectomy earlier than 25, however they will not help me concieve a child asap before i cant have any at all. Im in a good long term relationship and have a mortgage with my boyfriend, he has a good job and i am a student nurse. I dont see why they wont help me concieve just because im 19. If they dont help me soon i might not be able to have children at all. Any advice????
