When do you take a pregnancy test?
At what point during your cycle do you take a pregnancy test? If you are trying to conceive do you wait the Two Week Wait, or do you start testing earlier? Or, if you're not trying to conceive, how late are you when you start testing?

wait a week to get an accurate result
They say waith till you are a week late. I remember taking one the day my period was due for my son. Evwery woman is differnt and you make have ovulated a day later or so and the embryo may have not implanted right a way. i would say wait at least a week. It's really fustrating because you want to know. I am in that situation right now.

i wait the two week wait..but now that i missed my period im going to wait for 3weeks just to be sure.

CD 40 and still negative?!?!
I'm on CD 46 and I had a negative result on CD 40. But like most everyone has said each person is different. My doctor told me to wait another week so I'm trying to sit on my hands until then. Most women in my family usually test negative on urine test for the first 3 months of gestation beacuse of low hormone levels so I'm not sure if I'll be the same way. We'll have to see.

Oh my goodness, I am living with the very thing now. I have taken 2 test that are guaranteed 5 days before your missed period. I have had tender breasts, nausea, and frequent urination. However, I am getting a big fat stinky negative. My period should begin tomorrow and I am dying to know. My husband and I are trying and we want a baby so badly. I am going to wait at least 3 more days and then I will test again. Let's just pray for positive.

Hmmm
You should be able to see that you are pregnant at the date of your missed period, but everyone's body is different, I would think that a week after your missed period you should get a positive. BUT AGAIN< everyone is different. Good Luck! Don't stress!

Wait it out
Me an my partner have been trying to conceive for seven months. My period is now a week late and i have already done two tests!!!both coming back negative. I think its best to wait it out as every time i get a negative pregnancy test my heart sinks. I am trying desperately to wait another week as i have the symptoms tender breasts, feeling sick, being sick and urinating more often. I just wish i didn't have to wait i am so impatient!!
