TTC - To Say or Say Not?
While Trying to Conceive, have you found others (even people you barely know) asking prying questions or offering unsolicited advice? Do you think they mean well and just don't think, or are they being meddling and/or on the rude side? Do you respond, ignore it, brew over it all night...?

Work Gossipers

My husband and I will be celebrating our 2 year Wedding Anniversary in July, so have decided to TTC this year. As far as making it a topic of conversation, we have chosen not to mention it outside of our close friends and family to avoid pressure.

However, the women I work with (whom are all older than me), have been prying on my personal relations with my husband since the day go!

Obviously now it is slightly more aggitating for me, as my husband and I ARE now trying. However, I have found it best just to ignore their prying questions, such as "So when are you due?!" , everytime I make a passive comment that i'm not feeling great that day. This also normally leads to my colleagues offering unwanted advice on pregnancy topics and a full on conversation between themselves.

It's all very silly, but now that I am TTC this year, I feel it upsets me more, especially now that my husband and I have been TTC since December.

I'd like to think, when/if my partner and I get pregnant, that they would be happy for us. But i'm almost 88% sure it would just be treated as a piece of gossip. x
