What is the Gardisil HPV Vaccine?

Answer

Gardasil is an FDA approved vaccination against the four most important types of HPV. It is an intramuscular injection that is given in a series of 3 injections (at 0,2, and 6 months) and is approved for use in women ages 9 to 26.

In the analysis of efficacy of the Gardasil vaccine in women who received all 3 vaccines within one year of enrollment 100% developed immunity to the 4 types in the vaccine.
