How does the pregnancy day counter work for current and past pregnancies?

Once you've tracked you are pregnant (see: FAQ - How do I track I'm Pregnant?), the pregnancy calendar and pregnancy track event pages will display your pregnancy day (PD) whenever your calendar / event date is within the range of your current -- or past -- pregnancy.

Pregnancy Day (PD) reflects how many days you've been pregnant. The day you mark as the start date of your pregnancy is not PD 1. It is marked as pregnancy start date. The next day is PD 1, as you've then been pregnant for 1 day; the following is PD 2, pregnant 2 days, etc.

Pregnancy Day counts up as follows: if you are viewing a past pregnancy you tracked, up to the end date you specified, or 295 days, whichever comes first. If you are viewing the current / most recent pregnancy you tracked, up to 295 days.

Note: The pregnancy dashboard, shown on many of the pregnancy tracking pages, always reflects your current pregnancy. The pregnancy day counter, on the other hand, corresponds to the calendar date you are viewing, and therefore can reflect pregnancy day count in a past pregnancy you've tracked.
