Conception Frustrations II?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

discouraged ectopic pregnancy survivor

My hubby and I have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months and nothing. First of March last year we found out that we were pregnant even though we were not trying. We were ecstatic! I told him we were pregnant when he called the following weekend I found out (he was at basic training for the army). But I started bleeding that monday after I told him. I went to the doctor and they told me that I was miscarriaging. They kept watching my HcG levels but they never went to 0. The doctor just kept telling me that it would go all the way down and not to worry. I started having pain and the nurse told me that it was my body's cycle starting back and it would be painful. I finally became very upset and called the doctor back and demanded an appointment for that same day. This was now April 12. They did an ultrasound and found the tubal pregnancy. It was the size of a grapefruit by the time they found it and it had ruptured. They rushed me into surgery. I lost my right tube. I said all that to get to the present. I am coming up on the anniversary of when I got pregnant last year. I want a baby so bad. We have been trying since June but nothing. Anyone know some way to up chances each month to get pregnant. I am only fertile halve the time as normal and I want to make the fertile months count.

Upset/Frustrated

My husband and I have been ttc for a year now. I am now on metformin, I have yet to get my period for a month and a half and took a test--negative. I don't feel like I am either. We want so badly and I know we may be thinking too much about it. We have 2 sets of infant twins in our families and we are both so happy, yet I feel I am so down because I can't even conceive. I love the new additions in our families...I want one to call our own. I find myself getting down about it, I know first things first...I need to be getting my period on a regular basis.
If anyone has any suggestions, please help!!!

frustrated again, help!!!

Well it turns out it's another BFN this month again. Well at least AF thinks so..
I read in one of these postings some went off of bc in November, I did as well. I think they were saying something like the dr. told them that te eggs may not be attaching to the uterus. How long really would it take for the uterus to start becoming thick enough? Am I wasting my time with all this tracking now if my won't be ready for months?
AHHHH this is frustrating.....how can some people honestly get pregnant while on BC is beyond me!
I've been wanting this second child for 4 years now, it's just all this negative business is dragging me down ( not to mention AF month after month)
It was just announced that 2 more girls I work with got preggo, and one is 17, and soooo shocked. it's just one more wound to the heart you know? Sorry gals just upset to wake up to AF again this month...:(

frustrating to try for so long...

So me and my hubby have been ttc baby #3 for almost 2 years now. I have a 10 year old son from a previous relationship and a 3 1/2 year old son with my husband. We did all of the fertility testing and come to find out my husband's sperm may be the problem. I think we are going to try IUI in April. I hope this works. It is so frustrating to try for so long to get pregnant. I'm hoping it will happen on our own in February or March so we don't have to do IUI. It seems like everyone else is pregnant. I am happy for them, but it's so hard. Good luck to all of you ladies ttc! Let's hope this is our month! :)

Luteal phase, how do I figure it all out?

So I'm trying to conceive, and this month I decided to finally try to figure out my luteal phase. How do I figure it out. If I count from the day after I get my positive opk until the day before my period is that right? Also, isn't it always supposed to be consistent? The last five times I've tested, my spike has varied between days 10 & 14, and then my luteal phase varies from 13 - 15 days after. Isn't luteal phase always supposed to be the same? Any help would be great!

Stupid Cold may have ruined my chances for this month!

I just got over the worst cold/sinus/headache/dizzy horrible-ness last week, and I didn't take any sort of medication cause I still felt pregnancy symptoms before that, nausea, fatigue, tenderness, weirdness in the abdominal area and I didn't want any damage done.
But now AF is due Feb 5th, but we'll see. Most of my symptoms disappeared, or seemed to, so i'm convinced it will be a BFN again. I'm going be my first pregnancy 5 years ago when a was sick until the day I gave birth, I realize every pregnancy is different but I just can't stand yet another negative :(

However, was my ovulation delayed cause of my illness? I got so wiped when i was sick ,i didn't do the opk, and my temps were all up and abnormal. As soon as I felt better I made sure the BD was done just incase lol.
