Conception Frustrations?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Conception Frustrations?

when will my time be

I have been ttc for over 5 yrs now. I have had several miscarriages and one preterm delivery at 5 months. My daughter died after only 2 hours on this earth. Literally, everyone has children in my family. Some are already pregnant with child number 2 and/or 3. I just want at least one. I want my immediate family to feel complete. I would be such a good mother. I am trying some new things this cycle, so we'll see i it works. I think if this doesn't work, I am going to go back to clomid.

I want more children

I had a tubal reversal last Sept. since then we have been trying to get pregnant. One side is fine the other, so so. Also, we have been told he has low count. I am frustrated because, all doctors have an idea. No one will give straight answers. All of them want you to do this test or that test and "Maybe" we will get preganat. I wish someone would give me a definate answer.

Faith and Hope

Within a few days of meeting my husband I explained to him that I wanted children, no matter how I had to have them (birth, adoption...) and if he didn't want them we shouldn't waste any more of eachothers time. He wanted children too, and we anded up getting married only a year and half later. We've been married three years now. In the last year and a half, we've suffered two miscarriages. The first one was exactly a week after the test came up positive and the second was during my supposed 11th week of the pregnancy, when we went in for spotting concerns and were told our baby girl had passed away at the 8 week mark. (Apparently they can tell all sorts of things from D&C). Anyway, we vowed not to purchase any more home pregnancy tests. I don't even eat food cooked with alcohol and i take my prenatals every day. I won't take medications that could harm a baby and we keep trying. Every time I'm sick we rush and break the rule to determine if its a pregnancy and its always negative. Its hard coming so close and then feeling so far away. I work in a daycare and take care of infants every day. Its the most rewarding and wonderful job I could ever ask for but it is hard to accept that it comes so easy for some people. Being a Christian helps, I know it is Gods call. If he gave Sara a child, I still have a chance. :)

no baby yet

I can sympathize with all of you I to have been trying to concieve but its been 2 and a half years that my husband and I have been trying. I have been pregnant before and have beautiful daughters but we would love to have a child togeather. Each month that passes by and were not pregnant it gets more and more disheartning. We do our best to stay upbeat but it gets harder and harder.we just hope and pray that soon we'll have a little one of our own.

To the women who has been trying for 6 months.

This is a comment to the women who has been trying to conceive for 6 months. My husband and I have been trying to concieve since Feb. 2007. I knew already that I don't ovulate every month and I haven't ovulated since Jan. 2007. I kick my self in the butt for not trying in Jan., but there is nothing I can do about it now.

It really helps to know the signs of ovulation. There are different ways of detecting ovulation. Sometimes I can ovulate anywhere from the 14 day to the 18 day of my menstrual cycle. I'm not one that is a strict 28 day cycle, but normally if I go past 35 days, I didn't ovulate.

I hope this helps, and just know that you are not alone on this struggle. I hope for the best for everyone who is facing this problem, and I to am surrounded by people who either just had a baby or just found out they're preggers. Just remember when we do conceive we will appreciate so much more, and we will see what a true miracle it is.

Trying to conceive for 7 months

I want to respond to the girl who has been trying for 6 months. My husband and I have also been trying, this is our 7th month. It is very frustrating and upsetting when every month you get your period. I am also facing the heartache of watching others around me get pregnant at the drop of a hat. Why not me, I ask, all the time. It seems so unfair that no matter how much you want something, you cannot acheive getting it. But, I just remember that it is in God's timing and not mine. Remember to pray, because God will listen. It may feel as though he isn't, but he is. Pregnancy is a gift, a true miracle. Trying makes me respect that even more. I also want to add that ovulation prediction kits are so helpful in noting ovulation. I had to begin using these when I found out my sister had PCOS, which fortunatly I do not. Please just keep praying and trying. God will bless us both :)
