Conception Frustrations?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Frustrating..

I can absolutely relate. My husband is 25 and Im 24, so everyone that ever hears about us ttc, they say just relax, your young and it will eventually happen. WHEN?!! Its unbelievably frustrating!! Especially when you see everyone around you that just accidentally comes up pregnant.

for the first time im happily waiting for my period

hi im new to this sight but here is my story. i have been married for 9 months and i have been with my husband for two years. i am 34 he is 50. i found out that i have pcos and i guess thats why i have been so lucky in the not getting pregnant when i was younger( i have never taken birth control) now i am ttc and nothing has happened. but i am going to start my first cycle of clomid and for the first time in years i am happily waiting for my period so that i can start treatment. i hope i get pregnant soon. i am the last to have a baby in my circle. my friend's children are in junior high and high school. i even have one who has one in college. every one is saying now that we are married when are we going to have a baby or are you pregnant yet. i am tired of that but i am excited about next month 16 days to go and cycle one begins.

Stressed out and feeling it will Never happen.

I understand so many of you who are writing in on this. I tried getting pregnant last year for six months before getting so frustrated that I thought I would scream. So we just realexed and said if its going to happen it will. Then about four months ago we decided to really give it our all. We went to the docters got all the information we would need after finding out both of us are ok, and then I was put on fertility drugs. This month is my second cycle and I am still not pregnant. I feel like my body is under all this stress and nothing is happening. Then I find out a really good friend who I work with is pregnant and she isn't if sure what to do. It seems like everyone around me can just turn around and get pregnant, but for me and my husband it seems endless. I mean I don't mean to be unhappy for my friend, but I can't help but feel jealous of her. I am glad to read some of your posting and it really has helped me out. I know that there are other people who understand and it makes me feel like I can keep going with this.

Understanding the ttc frustrations....

I can totally understand how frustrated you can become. My hubby is 36 and I am 41 married 12 yrs.He doesn't have any kids and I do .I had a reversal done on my tubes 4 yrs ago have undergone every test you can think of .After two yrs of ttc,1000's in fertility pills we got pregnant...I lost it at 4 months .For the last year we hadn't really tried ( I still bbt)I fell pregnant again and miscarried last month ,Dr says my eggs are too old ..Funny I don't feel old . We have gone through so much ttc that now as much as we love each other and the idea of having a child together we have put it to God or fate whichever maybe both.
Prayers to all that are going through ttc frustrations throw it to the wind try not to worry so much live and love everyday like there will be no tomorrow you will be blessed when the time is right :)

Everybody's pregnant but me!

My husband and I have been TTC for almost a year now! I had very irregular periods up until September this year and my Dr wouldnt put me on anything because she felt that my period was so irregular because I had been on Depo and was only off it for a year ( I was on it for 2). In september we got the best suprise ever, I was 6 weeks pregnant! We were so excited because it was the last thing we'd expected. Then exactly 1 week after finding out and telling everybody we knew, I miscarried. We have been trying everything since then to get pregnant again and I know you should generally wait atleast 1-3 cycles to try again but we recently found out that he will be deploying late next year and we really want to get pregnant as soon as we can so that he can be here for the birth. To top things off it seems like everybody I know is now pregnant! I know I should be happy for them because like us, want a little bundle of joy but I find it hard to be happy for them because we want a baby so badly and havent been able to get pregnant again. It seems like everybody who doesnt want a baby or really doesnt need a baby in their life right now is being blessed with one and we arent! Am I the only one out there that feels this way???
