Conception Frustrations?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Some company......

My husband and I have been try on our own since August 2008. It was not until Late November that I found out I had Insulin Resistance and PCOS. Doc. put me on Metformin period came immediately Great HUH? Received a + Ovulation Test Result but negative pregnancy test. Period came on the 36th day of my cycle. Started my first cycle of Chlomid now I am not sure when I should ovulate. Dr. says to have sex days 10-20. I am so lost and frustrated. Anyone have the same feelings.

OTC Ovulation test Question

I have a question... I think I ovulate on time during the month. I tried to use an OTC ovulation predictor and it showed I never ovulated. Does water affect the test? I drink lots of water and I was wondering. My fiance and I have been TTC for about 3 months. i am thinking about going on Clomid to ovulate. I am 35 and have had children before. Any ideas? Thank you. And baby dust to all

ttc for over a year, ovulating today and crossing my fingers

My husband and I have been ttc our first child for 13 months now. We've just completed our fertility work-ups and we're both fine. I'm not sure if that's good news or not, because now I have no idea why we haven't conceived yet. I just had my HSG this cycle, and am on clomid for the first time, too. I'm ovulating today, just started clomid, had my HSG (which they say may temporarily increase fertility), I'm taking vitex, and using pre-seed - so I really hope it works this time!

If I see my period next week, I will feel so completely crushed...maybe this time more thane ever, after ensuring we did everything right, it still wasn't good enough. That will just make me feel so miserable. Although my husband wants a child and would be SO HAPPY on the day I tell him about a BFP, my husband doesn't share my frustration - he doesn't feel bad like I do....I think he's in positive-happy-la-la land, where you don't have to try to concieve, it just happens when it happens. I do all the research and leg work and appointment making and hoping. I wonder if he's just trying to not add any pressure?

Irregular Frustrations!

I think I am most frustrated with having irregular periods since going off of birth control pills. I was on them for a long time and my CD's are not consistent. I know it may take awhile. It just gets old after awhile. Sending baby dust to all.

Good luck girls!

My hubby and I have been trying to get preggerz and have been unsuccessful. I have hopes that it won't be much longer. I have a 7 yr old son and really want to have two more children before he gets much older. I think that if I didn't think about it every second of every day, it would just happen. I gotta stop tinking about it so much. I pray all us ladies get what we want and soon!
Good luck girls!!

TTC Can Be Soooo Frustrating!!!

Aarrgghh!! TTC is so frustrating!! DH and I have been TTC for almost 4 years, since first and only pregnancy resulted in a M/C. It just seems like it is never going to happen for us. I have been charting my menses, BBT, and OV days for 3 years now!! Last year we finally decided to seek help from a fertility specialist, who did several tests, and decided I needed to have laproscopic surgery to either remove what she thought might be a blocked tube, or to remove some endometriosis. I did have the surgery in August 2008, and it turned out the tube was not blocked, but did have to remove some endometriosis. Dr. was very optomistic that we would now be successful at getting pregnant!! It has now been 5 cycles since having the surgery, and still nothing!! Dr. has started me on Clomid this month, to see if this will work!! If the Clomid doesn't work by itself after three cycles then going to combine Clomid with IUI, and if that doesn't work (SIGH)well then I guess it is just not meant to be!! We can't afford IVF or a private adoption, so if this doesn't work I guess I well never get to experience the joys of motherhood!! To make it worse, it seems like everybody I know is getting pregnant or having babies, even my 16 year old niece, who is the last person needing to be having a baby right now!! Aarrgghh!!
