When do you take a pregnancy test?

At what point during your cycle do you take a pregnancy test? If you are trying to conceive do you wait the Two Week Wait, or do you start testing earlier? Or, if you're not trying to conceive, how late are you when you start testing?

When do you take a pregnancy test?

4 days late is my rule

I am trying to conceive. I am pretty regular with my cycles, but my rule is if I find I am 4 days late (because I am so regular) I will take the test. I want to know ASAP because if I am pregnant I would want to avoid doing anything that could potentially harm the baby.

When do you take a pregnancy test?

I never know when

I never really know when to take a test. Ive read that the pregnancy hormone shows up around 6 days after conception. When if you get pregnant 5 or 4 days before your period and so your period is late but when you test its negitive...how do you know when to retest...and when to call the dr if your period never comes????

Right now Im on CD 31 my normal CD are 28. I tested on CD 27 its was a big fat negitive but I believe if I am pregnant it happend either one CD 22 or CD 26. I am going to the dr today for a cold I have had..and I feel like I may have a yeast infection from the antibiotics I was on. I am going to request a blood test and if thats negitive then I am going to ask..WHATS UP WITH THAT haha...I never really know when to test. I just take it month by month and what the situation is.

When do you take a pregnancy test?

Wait til I'm late

My husband and I have been trying for 1 year & 8 months. I had a miscarriage in June 2005. I found out in May 2006 that I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), and have been on fertility drugs since. With no success. My cycles are 28 to 32 days w/ the drugs, so I wait until after the 34th day (2 & 1/2 weeks) to take a pregnancy test. I have decided to go back on the pill to get my weight down and take away some of the emotional worries that I have. Getting PG is all that I think about. It is affecting my marriage and my career.

When do you take a pregnancy test?

I am still debating.

My husband and I are TTC.
I am 1 day late, but I am also irregular 30-45 days.
So, am I really late?
This past 2 weeks, I had experienced so much ?body symptoms?. I had felt the symptoms of getting pregnant, but I also felt the symptoms before the period comes. One moment, I can be 80% sure that I am pregnant, but the next hour I could be 80% sure that I will have my period soon. It?s driving me crazy. I have not do the test yet because technically, I am not late yet. I think I MIGHT have my period soon?..and I also know I will cry and feel bad when the period does come.

When do you take a pregnancy test?

i want "baby"

i know all about rushing to the store with anticipation and excitement with regard to whether or not there's a baby on the way. however i do think that waiting until that missed period is sometimes very difficult. It's okay to test maybe 2-3 days before the impending period every other month, and wait until a "missed" every other month. this way you don't waste as much money and anguish!! variety is good!!!
