So Long Period Stains
Who hasn't had a period stain or two along the way? From undies to fav jeans, period stains can be a royal pain. But happily they're often non-fatal and can be mostly/completley removed.
What period stain removal strategies have you tried and what works best for you?

this is the best
through all these years i have thrown away so many pairs of undies!!!! i was watching a show one day and i couldnt belive it.
PEROXIDE, that's it ladies. do not wash the garment. take the garment where the stain is and put your hands under the spot to protect the clean areas. then take a paper towel and soak it with peroxide. keep dabbing on the stain. you will see it break up right before your eyes.keep doing this until its gone. then throw those babies in the wash. PEROXIDE COSTS ABOUT A DOLLAR AND IS A GREAT WAY TO REMOVE PERIOD STAINS. hope i was helpful, vi

Zest soap always works
I learned from my mom to use Zest soap. Just rub it on with some water (doesn't matter if it's cold or hot water) and rub the fabric together. It's removed old dried blood stains too. Zest soap will also give a nice polish to silver jewelry.

Best stain remover ever
I started using this product called "Eaze out" it is the most magnificent thing every created... It takes out blood, sweat, chocolate.
Example of its fantasticness... My mom bought a shirt in Columbia 25 years ago and while i was helping her go through her things from the trip i found this beautiful shirt and asked if i could have it.. but... sweat stains on it.. 25 year old sweat stains... and sure enough with a little scrubbing... vanished.. I have never seen a product do this so well. I bought it at a fabric store. and it is worth every penny.. and last FOREVER because you don't need alot.

tried and true
Since high school, I have used this same treatment: cold water and table salt! Soak the garment, then rub salt into the stain, like you're exfoliating. The stain will start to disappear. Usually, that helps to stop the stain from setting. Whatever doesn't come out right away will come out in the wash.

SPEED IS WHAT YOU NEED!!!
As a teenager and young adult, I simply "threw out" what ever had been messed up... then I started having to buy my own clothes!!! Since that eye-opener, I've been able to successfully remove every stain by moving quickly.
If you can get to running water quickly, i.e. you're at home, a friend's home, etc., that's obviously the best choice. But, if you're not (may seem uncomfortable), but if you can keep the stain moist until you can get to the running water, you'll have a better chance of getting them out. Regular old Hydrogen Peroxide also works pretty well on ones that have actually set. Try pouring directly onto a set stain, or if possible, letting it soak for a while before washing.

How I take out a period stain
i have always tried cold water and some detergent as soon as I stain my clothes sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
