Avoid white outfits!

the only advice i can give is never wear white when your period is due! If you have to wear a white uniform for work then take plenty of sanitary protection just in case!

Everybody was mad at me...

Well I had to be about 13 because I hadn't been menstruating that long but long enough. My cousins and I decided to go to the movies and I was all for it. It was in the summer time and I had this pretty spandex like outfit and it was khaki. Even though I had only been menstrating for about a year I knew that my periods were very heavy. So before I left the house I made sure to change my pad and to put a tampon on (even though I really didn't use them). Well nobody from my party noticed anything and I surely didn't feel anything but as soon as we stood in line to order our tickets somebody tells my cousin to alert me. Well everbody was mad at me because we had to go home and I was just sooooo humiliated that even to this day when I think about it it makes me shiver.

Messy period

I was in eighth grade and I had been having my periods for 2 years all ready. But this year I decided to use tampons and it didn't work out well at all. I woke up in the morning for school and put the tampon on and went to school. I completely forgot that I had put a tampon on and didn't change almost all that day. I got into my last class and felt something in my jeans and looked down in my chair and yes it was coming through. I didn't want to get up and have everyone see it so I wrapped my sweatshirt around me and went to the bathroom and changed it. I wore that sweatshirt the rest of the day. As soon as I got home I changed and now I make sure that I check my tampon just so I know it is there lol.

On a trip for my husbands company...

I would have to say that my most embarrasing experience as an adult would have to have been in April of 2006. We were in Hawaii on a trip for my husbands company. We were at a dinner with his colleagues. i had been sitting for awhile and as soon as I stood up I could feel the "waterfall". I made it to the bathroom thinking I was in time and realized that I had a huge red spot on my underwear right on my bottom. So, I waited a bit and was kinda unsure of how to handle it. My blouse wasnt long enough to cover, but I was in black pants so it was hard to tell anything was there. I came out and my husband was waiting for me. He said he had a feeling that I was having issues. I was afraid that I had spotted the cushion in the chair, as it was a creme color. I was sooo glad that hadnt. Luckily my husband taking pity on me, ended the night and we excused ourself with the excuse that we were exhausted and returned to our hotel. Whew! I was so sure people would see. If anyone noticed that didn't say anything. It was embarassing to tell my husband, but he said, "Accidents happen. Don't worry about it." I learned that when I am on my period to make sure I don't sit for as long as I did. I now keep extra underwear in my purse the first few days of my period when I am flowing the heaviest.

my husband saw red

One morning when I woke up, I went to go stand up and realized that AF was feeling like a faucet that someone left on. When I went to walk I felt very wet, and I notice my husband looking at me funny, sure enough I had a red behind. Until this day I am still embarrassed.
