I don't like my period!

my cycle has suddenly become unpredictable (always at least a week too long) and my period has become much heavier than it used to be, with extreme cramps that i never had before. instead of feeling bloated for a day or two beforehand, my breasts are swollen and sore for more than a week ahead of time. for the first fifteen years, i didn't have any of these problems (except missing 6 months when my eating disorder got out of hand). it's very frustrating to try to figure out how to deal with them all of a sudden right NOW.

I hate that it is so heavy!!! I always had a very light, short period until i had my third baby. Now i am always in the bathroom... it's horrible.

I despise getting my period because it makes me feel so grossly bloated and the extra hygiene that goes with it. Not to mention, the constant worrying that my period will show and having to ask a friend or go to the bathroom to check if it shows. I also hate the severe cramps that sometimes creep up on me sometimes since I have irregular periods and I hardly ever get cramps. I'm a real baby when it comes to cramps so I just sleep it off because I don't like taking over the counter medication for it or any other drugs except to eat ice cream or cold stuff. Yep, and also when my period is very heavy on during the first two or three days, it smells like rusted metal or iron so I have to take a shower three times a day, wear scented tampons or pads and wear extra perfume.

Having cramps, getting irritated with everyone and every little thing and then feeling guilty about it, nausea, bloating, fear of leakage...I hate tampons, but would rather deal with them than pads. I can't use a menstrual cup. I hate having to feel like I should constantly be in the shower. And the stained underwear...good god. It's a costly nuisance.

My period was regular. I knew exactly when I was going to get it, how long it would last, and what days would be heavy. However, the past 4 or 5 months, it's been arriving later and later. I don't know how long it's going to last. I may gush blood on the third day, and it'll disappear on the fourth just to come back with a vengeance on the fifth.

The thing I hate the most about my period is the cramps, I usually have a really bad first day which makes me wish I was menopausic, I feel all nauseous and gross, but as soon as the first day is over and done with the next days become bearable. Thank Goodnes for painkillers otherwise I would die!!

I CANNOT STAND THE BLOATING!!! It drives me nuts, and makes me look pregnant...and if i even eat a morsel of salt i feel huge...i hate feeling fat like that..
