I'm Pregnant!

When you found out you were pregnant, how long did you wait until you told dad-to-be? How did you tell him and was he the first person you told? Did everyone react as you expected?

I'm Pregnant!

BFP--Very Excited---But also nervous

Hi ya'll! My husband and I have been ttc for three months and last Sunday I took a hpt and it was a BFP! We are so excited, but at the same time I am feeling a little anxious. This is my first pregnancy, so I don't really know what to expect or if what I'm feeling is normal.

I've had several symptoms, sore/swollen breats, cramps, dizziness, and a little nausea. My symptoms aren't constant, like today my boobs feel less tender, but I'm still cramping, and still having dizzy spells.

Is it normal for your symptoms to come and go?

Am I crazy for feeling so anxious?

Does anyone else have these feelings?

We have our first DR's visit on the 20th, so until then I'm trying to relax and not let these thoughts bother me.

I'm Pregnant!

Stopped trying...am pregnant!

I've been TTC since November & recently decided to stop trying to get healthier. I'd had a faint positive a couple cycles that ended with terribly heavy periods (chemical pregnancies?). I'd been getting very frustrated because my cycles were completely whacky; the shortest cycle was 19 days with an 11 day period & the longest cycle was 34 days. Along with irregular cycles, I'd been experiencing extreme breast soreness in some of my cycles, which I read could be a sign of a hormonal imbalance.

After 8 cycles or so, I was frustrated, so I decided to stop trying & focus on my health. I've been pretty depressed the last two months thinking I was having a hormonal issue that prevented me from having a viable pregnancy. I told myself we'd start trying again in January 2011 after a few months of taking supplements.

I didn't start taking supplements right away like I'd planned because I needed a break from thinking about it all. This cycle, we barely did any BDing at all, just twice: once about 3 days after my period ended (another 11 day period btw...so frustrating) & then again on day 26, so when I got to day 40, I thought, "Great, my cycles are getting worse". Then day 42 came, & my husband & I began to wonder if I could actually be pregnant somehow. I didn't want to test yet because there had been so many cycles that I tested & then BOOM got my period the next day.

Finally, I bought the test before going to my Mother's for dinner. I was cooking the dinner & had a few minutes to test, so I did. I couldn't believe it when I saw the first line-the pregnancy line-show up boldly & then the control line followed quickly. I was stunned! I wasn't "trying" to get pregnant at all.

So keep the faith, just relax, & don't assume anything. The old adage "It happens when you stop trying" was absolutely true in my case, and I am SO happy that it was! My depression was instantly lifted the moment I saw that dark pink line. I feel so incredibly blessed right now. :) LOBD!

I'm Pregnant!

Very Very Faint BFP!

So I just got home from work and decided to test. I am due for AF tomorrow 7/14/10. Haven't really had any symptoms except for very frequent urination and feeling a little bloated. I got an extremely faint BFP today but they say as long as you see two lines then it is positive and I am sure that I definately see two lines. I am going to test again tomorrow with my first morning urine and I hope that it shows up darker. DH is soooo excited but I had to tell him via text message because he is at work right now. This is only our second month of trying. We suffered a miscarriage two years ago so right now I am just hoping for a sticky pregnancy. I would only be 4 weeks today and I lost my first one at about 7 weeks so the next 3-4 weeks are going to be nerve wrecking. This all seems so surreal right now.

I'm Pregnant!

I'm Pregnant!

I woke up yesterday morning at 6.30am and tested my first urine of the day. It didn't take long for the test to show positive results. I then took photos of the test using my phone then threw the test away. Later on, 2 hours later to be precise, I rushed into the bedroom and woke up my dear husband and told him about it.

He was really happy. We were a bit surprised. We have only been married for 16 days! We had always said that we would wait until we were married before we have children, and it looks like our bodies really wanted that promise to be kept! LOL.

We're so excited! A bit scared though as it is all just starting to sink in. Now we just need to figure out what to do next...
