I'm Pregnant!

When you found out you were pregnant, how long did you wait until you told dad-to-be? How did you tell him and was he the first person you told? Did everyone react as you expected?

I'm Pregnant!

BFP! After 1 yr of TTC! Our 2nd Miracle!

Finally we have received the answer to our prayers. We ttc'd for a year and were just beginning our search into the world of infertility-but kept on trying 'naturally' throughout.
We had our first big appointment set up with the fertility docs. We decided to go away alone to Europe on a vaca before it-to relax, talk about how we were feeling...and a week after returning home we found out we had the best souvenir ever! YEA!
I am a 28 yr old mom of a 3 yr old. I have cystic fibrosis. So this has been a LONG journey in the making. One child for a woman with Cf is one in a million...this is just amazing. So much hard work, planning, tears-and now tears of happiness.

I'm Pregnant!

im also pregnant

i found out i was pregnant 3 days ago,ive not missed a period yet but can always tell when im pregnant due to sore breasts and moodyness, so i did a test and and it wreckons im 5 weeks, i told everyone straight away and will be booking an appointment monday, everyone did react how i expected apart from my husband, who didnt seem bothered at all, which really hurts,we already have 3 children, not alot of money and only a 3 bedroomed house, so he was more concerned about wheres the baby going to sleep and all the negative points,he soon came round when i told him to leave and i would bring up our 4 children by myself!!

I'm Pregnant!

Whats Next???

We have been TTC since June. Last month i thought was the month. I was a week late (and i am never late) and took a hpt and there was a VERY faint 2 lines. I waited a few days and was going to take another but AF showed up. I was very heavy and very worried. I have never been that late or that heavy. This month I waited until 1 day after AF was supposed to arrive and to my surprise 2 VERY dark lines. I think that Im still in shock about it. I told the hubby first of course and then my best friend who lives out of state. I guess i will call the doctor in a few days to make an appt. I really just dont know where to go from here. We want to wait until at least 3mon before we tell anyone including family because you never know. Any advise..how long to wait before making dr appt ect???? Thanks :)

I'm Pregnant!

Can't wait!

Well, I haven't told anybody except Dad-to-be. I found out a week ago that we were pregnant right before I went to work. I took the preggo test two days after my missed period and was convinced I wasn't preggo but that I was stressed or just a couple days late. As soon as I saw that heavenly plus sign, I was in shock! Of course I was running late for work and I just didn't want to tell my husband, FYI we are going to have a kid in April and bye I am late for work. So I waited until he got home from work and we went on our walk we take in the evenings and we were talking about his friend and his friends girlfriend and how she is 7 weeks along and should have her baby early april, and I just couldn't hold it any longer and I turned to him and said "oh well that is the same month we will have ours". He had to take a second glance and said huh what???? And I told him I was due April 23rd and he was going to be a Daddy. He smiled the whole rest of the walk and hugged my about 25 times before we got home. Even though it has only been one week it feels like 5 weeks have past. I can't wait to meet with the birth centers once we have reached 11 or 12 weeks along!
