I'm Pregnant!

When you found out you were pregnant, how long did you wait until you told dad-to-be? How did you tell him and was he the first person you told? Did everyone react as you expected?

I'm Pregnant!

BFP today!

I tested today, because I wasn't having any symptoms that my period would start (not late but just sensed that it wouldn't be coming). I got a BFP! I went through a really horrible miscarriage in june that dragged out for almost 3 weeks (I had a Missed Miscarriage and thought I was 11 when infact the baby died at 7 weeks, ended up taking cytotec after 3 weeks of waiting for "nature to take its course" as the doctor put it). We started trying right away when we got the all clear, then in oct we decided to stop trying (i was still to emotionally messed up) and started using condoms again. Then around the first of the month we had unprotected sex, just once and jackpot!

We are both very happy, and hopeing that all goes well over the next 40 or so weeks.

I will be honest though, I am scared, big time scared that we are going to lose another baby :( I guess that feeling will never be gone.

I'm Pregnant!

I'm Preggers, In Total shock

After having a really crazy cycle that lasted 70days (no lie 70 days with two weeks of spotting that came an went at it wanted) I was in the middle of another long cycle at day 50, and I finally could not take it anymore, I was extremely tired exhausted, no sex drive, moody, emotional,sore/swollen breast and could not concentrate to save my life at work or school. I honestly though that I was going to learn that I was suffering from an extreme hormone imbalance
anyway I set out to get an appointment with my Midwife to get the ball rolling on trying to figure this whole thing out, I was convinced that there was no way that i could be pregnant, no traditional sign of ovulation and honestly i could count on my hand how many times i had has sex. and some thing said let me just test to rule that out and I tested and with in seconds there they were, two strong pink lines on the test!!! I started laughing, still in denial I tested again and again, all positive results in seconds! my partner was stunned and excited. We rushed to my midwife office and did a test to confirm and another BFP!!! I'm in total shock!! But so excited and feeling really blessed;

This cycle i didn't chart, take temps, or check my cervix, I just enjoyed my partner (when I could) and let nature do her thing, I trusted in my body that it knew what it needed to do. and look!
Good luck to all the mommies TTC and hey maybe that old wives tale is right sometimes you just have to let go and have fun.

I'm Pregnant!

Just found out, we're Preggers!

I just found out that I'm pregnant yesterday! I took a First Response test Monday morning and one line was dark and the other line was faint, but it was there! I was so nervous when I was trying to tell my husband, I was studdering and everything. He was in complete shock, like I could see his free-man clock ticking in his eyes. So, I went to the doctor yesterday to confirm. I also told my momther, sister, two friends and my mother in law right after we found out yesterday. I'm not sure how many weeks I am yet, I have to wait for the blood work to come back. But I just want to say that I thought that I would have so many problems. I know I have extra tissue in my uterus and I thought that I couldn't get pregnant. We have been trying for 5 months and it just happened. I was trying to be upbeat in the TTC stage, but sometimes I felt so helpless and everyone around me was pregnant or just had a baby. I want all the couples out there to keep praying, keep trying and keep believing, trust me, I have been there and the end result will be outstanding!!!!

I'm Pregnant!

Pregnant at 38 years old

I am pregnant, did a pregnancy test yesterday and today. Both positive. We have been trying for 4 months. This will be my 3rd child. My oldest being 13 years old and youngest just 18months. I am 38 years old and after reading all the text on struggling to get pregnant when my age and overweight (which I am) I sort of gave up as I was getting really crabby every time I had my period. Bobs your uncle and Fannies your aunt after de stressing it happened.

Haven't told the Hubby yet I wanted to be sure with this mornings test first. The last two pregnancies I was so excited I told him over the phone. But am going to wait until he comes home this evening. Of course he will be the first.
