Cramp Solutions <3

When I get bad menstrual cramps, I lay down on my belly with a heating pad under my belly. It helps a lot. =]

HORRIBLE cramps!

I take Ibuprofen sparingly a few days before my period and then on the day that it starts, I have to take Ibuprofen AND either Vicoden or Percocet. I hate the after effects of the narcotics though because I feel out of it once they start to wear off, but oh the relief and euphoria when they first kick in. I make sure that I stop taking the narcotics once the 2 day mark passes otherwise you go through withdrawal. I know this seems like a bit much, but I've been hospitalized twice for HORRIBLE menstrual cramps. I also have mild endometriosis which I had surgery for about 5 months ago. Finally, I think it's starting to work because I barely had to take anything, here's hoping this last until it's time to start trying for a baby.

my menstrual cramps

I am also suffering from menstrual cramps though i have a regular mentrual cycle. What i do is i drink cola it might be weird but it helps me a lot. And there's no need for me to lay down.I really don't like taking medicine in capsule or in tablet form. I also tried a herbal juice and it really removes my menstrual cramp but it should be taken continuosly.

not a fun mall trip

hello! i am 21 years old. i started my period when i was 10.. i cant beleive its been 10 years! ugh i hate it! anyways.. my periods werent that bad until i was 18. i remember my first HORRIBLE period..i was at the mall shopping for my moms birthday present and i had just started. i was fine driving to the mall.. but when i started to walk around my back pains got way worse.. worse than ever before. i was to the point to where i couldnt even walk! i had to sit down at a bench. then ended up just going home. when i got home i took some ib profen and got a heating pad and put it on my back and took an hour nap. when i woke up i felt better. so now every time i start i take some ib profen before it starts to hurt. because if i forget i cant do anything for the day..

I do the same thing but instead of the warm cloth I use hot water bottle. I take that fill it up with the warm water and take an Alieve which actually works better for me.

Cures for Cramps

I take a wet washcloth put it in the Microwave for about 20 seconds (depends on micorwave) I get it nice and hot then put in a plastic bag turn a movie on and prop my feet up while I lay the cloth with plastic cover directly on the spot I am cramping. If that doesnt work I take motrin. If neither work, my hubby usually massages the cramping area.I just think of cramps as clots that just need help coming out so I relax and let the warmth takeover.
