I'm Pregnant!
When you found out you were pregnant, how long did you wait until you told dad-to-be? How did you tell him and was he the first person you told? Did everyone react as you expected?

Pregnant, but dont feel it...

Posted by: salex on Mon Jan 19, 2009
I had been trying for months to get pregnant, me and my partner had planned for ages and we're so excited when we found out we were finally pregnant. Since then, I have to say that I've been very lucky and had no symptoms at all. My only problem is that because I've had no symptoms, I dont feel pregnant at all, which considering I'm 20 weeks, to me seems really bad. I find it really difficult to explain, and just feel like I'm putting on weight, and not pregnant. And due to this, I have found that I don't feel excited because to me it's not real, although I've seen the scan and heard the heartbeat. Im hoping that someone can help explain this or help me in some way to understand why I don't feel excited about something I've wanted for so long. Maybe I should speak to a doctor or my midwife? Im just worried that they will think I wont be a good mom, when I know I will be
